About This Project

Turn focus sessions into a growing space base

TinyPomo is a Pomodoro focus game for iPhone. Instead of ending with a timer beep and a number in a chart, each completed focus session helps build a small world you can return to.

The app combines a focused timer, Live Activities, progress tracking, and a visual base-building loop designed to make starting the next session feel rewarding.

Visit tinypomo.app for the latest screenshots and development updates.

Built for people who love the timer

A timer with a reason to finish

Pick 5, 25, or 45 minutes. A Live Activity keeps the countdown on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Every completed mission earns credits that fund real construction in your colony.

Watch your habitat grow

Open the console to see power, oxygen, crew load, and modules online. Request specialists, dispatch rockets, and manage the build queue.

Make a landing choice that matters

Compare NASA-sourced terrain and reveal each region's solar yield, water ice, stability, minerals, and population ceiling before you commit.

A dormant network among the stars

Long before anyone arrived, something built a system of beacons and relays across the solar system — then went silent. Pathfinders is just humanity's name for whoever they were.

Every focus session moves that story forward. Who connected the stars — and why did they go silent?

Chapter 1 — First Light (Moon, free)

Completed focus missions establish humanity's first permanent lunar base and keep its crew thriving.

Chapter 2 — The Silent Beacon (Moon, free)

Lunar expeditions uncover a dormant machine beneath ancient ice. The Deep Relay locks onto a paired signal — on Mars.

Chapter 3 — The Second Receiver (Mars)

Establish a self-sufficient settlement, locate the paired beacon, and triangulate a hidden route.

Chapter 4 — The Pathfinder Archive (Mars)

Combine evidence from both worlds, work through repairable dormant failsafes, and reconstruct the navigation protocol.

Chapter 5 — Beyond Sol (uncharted)

Build the first Pathfinder-derived probe and reach a silent relay at Veila Rift — the next stop on a much longer map. This chapter is planned story, not shipping content yet.

Moon and Mars stay the operational core. Future destinations are meant to each add their own environment and expedition.

Start with an empty landing site

The Moon is TinyPomo's complete opening campaign. Every honest focus session earns the credits that turn a landing beacon into a connected, crewed, self-sustaining colony.

How the Moon works

  1. Focus funds construction — Complete missions to earn Momentum Credits. Each briefing shows what your next session can put within reach.
  2. Rockets bring the people — Request launches and bring colonists, engineers, medics, botanists, scientists, pilots, and other specialists.
  3. Systems must balance — Power, oxygen, food, water, crew capacity, and communications turn the Moon into an operating habitat, not a decorative progress screen.

Moon modules (0/10 → Moon Base Established)

  1. Landing Pad — open cargo and crew traffic
  2. Habitat Dome — give the first crew a home
  3. Habitat Annex — add more crew berths
  4. Solar Array — stabilise colony power
  5. Greenhouse — grow food and produce oxygen
  6. Oxygen Recycler — increase breathable-air output
  7. Water Extractor — drill into sub-surface ice
  8. Research Lab — turn focus into better technology
  9. Comms Tower — boost focus rewards
  10. Deep Relay — locks onto a paired signal on Mars

After all ten modules are online, the base remains mission control for staff, research, launch capacity, cards, operations, and the Mars campaign.

A postcard from the Moon

Turn a colony snapshot into a shareable 4:5 postcard from Moon Base Ops. It is rendered on-device in SwiftUI and handed to the iOS share sheet — no account, no server, no analytics.

On the postcard: colony progress, systems online, missions, crew, and streak.

Never on the postcard: task names, precise timestamps, Apple Health data, identifiers, or credit balances.

Focus on Earth. Operate across two worlds.

Know what the next session builds

Mission briefing connects the timer to the next colony objective. Movement Momentum can reward walking and recorded runs through Apple Health.

Read the terrain before you commit

Compare fully surveyed landing regions using visible resource and terrain trade-offs. The final site choice is permanent.

A small base with real pressure

Mars tracks its own power, oxygen, food, water, crew capacity, and construction priorities independently from the Moon.

Mars holds the second receiver

The Deep Relay you build on the Moon points here. Mars carries the network's paired signal. Establish a self-sufficient settlement, locate the second receiver, and work toward reconstructing what the Pathfinders left behind — while your Moon colony keeps supplying people, science, and launch capacity.

Optional one-time purchase: $4.99. The Moon campaign remains free. No subscription, no timers for sale, no consumable currency.

Mars path in brief

  1. Build the mission from your Moon base (survey satellite and interplanetary rocket)
  2. Cross the distance — track transit; completed focus sessions help arrival
  3. Survey the planet with real Mars imagery
  4. Choose where to land (permanent decision)
  5. Send the first crew through the Moon as mission control
  6. Keep Mars alive while the Moon keeps running

Current status

TinyPomo is in active development and coming soon to the App Store. Native SwiftUI screens on tinypomo.app are current product captures, not mock-ups.
